Ceramics Workshop

These workshops offer a practical and sensitive approach to working with clay, inviting participants to discover the rhythm of ceramics and the direct relationship between the body, the material and the form. We will explore the building process with our hands and ceramic tools, valuing gesture and experimentation. The three traditional hand building techniques —pinching, coiling, and slab building— allow us to model volumes, create textures, and understand the expressive possibilities of clay.

Paula Gilbert Roset

lives and works in Caldas da Rainha. She is a Spanish artist and educator with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, specializing in material research through ceramics. The central focus of her work is her interest in traditional manual techniques for creating objects. Through the craft process, she explores concepts related to community, guilds, memory, and the intergenerational transmission of knowledge.
